Dr. LaLama performed his surgical training at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI excelling in foot and ankle reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine injuries, and wound care. Dr. LaLama researched and published articles in The Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery as well as Podiatry Today Magazine during his residency. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Rachel Samsel
Dr. Samsel received her medical education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, OH. She then completed a 3 year surgical residency program at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Dr. Samsel was trained in reconstruction of forefoot and rearfoot ankle deformities, as well as trauma, sports medicine, and diabetic wound care. She completed a mini-fellowship at Bako Pathology in dermatological conditions. Dr. Samsel is certified with the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Samsel is on staff at William Troy Beaumont Hospital and Ascension St. John Macomb and Oakland Hospitals.
Dr. Andrew Messina, DPM
Dr Andrew Messina earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL.
He then completed his 3-year residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital where he received extensive training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, wound care, trauma, foot and ankle reconstruction, and limb salvage. He is Forefoot and Rearfoot Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr Andrew Messina is on staff at Beaumont Grosse Pointe and Beaumont Royal Oak. As well as Ascension St John Main and Ascension Southfield. He also is on staff at the Amputation Prevention Center in Southfield, MI.
